Aleysha has a strong interest in and extensive knowledge of family law. She has successfully completed an Honours research thesis focusing on access to justice in family law property disputes and a Masters research thesis examining children’s views and parental alienation in cases where children resist contact with their parents. Her research background provides her with a unique understanding of the intricacies of family law.
As a young lawyer, Aleysha is dedicated to taking a holistic approach to family law matters. She understands that clients are often going through difficult times and that navigating the family law system can lead to additional stress. She is committed to being supportive and empathetic while working towards the most favourable outcomes for her clients as quickly as possible. Aleysha has had extensive involvement in both property and parenting family law matters including matters that settle by consent through negotiation or mediation and matters that progress through the court process.
In addition to her interest in family law, Aleysha has welcomed the opportunity to gain experience in criminal law. She has confidently appeared in Local Courts throughout NSW representing clients in criminal law matters.
